White Wiping Rags

White wipers are great if you need to see what you have been cleaning up. Let’s say a mechanic is stopping a leak and he wants to see the color of the oil. Or a painter wants to make sure he wiped up all excess paint. In this case a white rag is suggested. This is definitely a huge benefit if you want to be able to see what you are wiping. You can still see most stuff you’re wiping up with color rags but not to the extent of a white wiping cloth.

White rags also show the appearance of hygiene. It is a hard to hide a dirty white rag. So they appear to be more sanitary than a color rag. In most industries white rags look more professional when hygiene is of concern.

Color Wiping Rags

Color rags do not show dirt as much. If you have a dirty job and are going to be reusing a rag then color will look better long term. By and large, the most popular color rag is a recycled color knit t-shirt rag, followed by industrial color and hospital gowns, all of which are inexpensive and meant to be used a few times and disposed of. Yet, our blue surgical towels are a great colored rag to try out if you are looking for something long lasting and sturdy. We also offer recycled green surgical towels, recycled terry towels, and color flannel, just to name a few. They can also be organized by color for a sanitary environment – this is usually recommended with microfiber towels.
